DC-UPS system (thyristor technology)
The thyristor-controlled rectifier is the series most frequently used for high output powers and heavyduty applications. Rectifier bridges in B2 or B6 circuits are usually used for this equipment. Rectifiers with a 12-pulse rectifier bridge can also be supplied for special applications. The equipment can be adapted to the appropriate application by means of a variety of options. Parallel-connected lead or NiCd batteries serve to create DC-UPS systems.
By adjusting the batteries to suit, it is possible to achieve shorter or also longer backup periods. This series can also be operated on all international mains voltages by adapting the input transformer. Likewise, all the customary output voltages are possible.
