Modern data- and telecommunication systems require more than ever a power supply with a maximum of reliability and availability. Down-times are not acceptable nowadays, even during maintenance the redundancy has to be ensured. The ATS 2000 offers the possibility to switch-over back and forth between two independent power supplies without disconnection of the load. The modern microprocessor-controlled electronic ensures continuous supervision. Thereby voltage breakdowns at the load are a thing of the past.
The ATS 2000 from JOVYATLAS is assembled with thyristors connected in anti-parallel and designed for permanent operation. To achieve high MTBF-times JOVYATLAS has constructed the static switch without capacitors or filters for commutation. To the input of the ATS 2000 you can connect synchronous power sources as well as asynchronous power ones. By the ATS 2000 a privileged current source is defined. In case of failure of this current source the automatic transfer switch switches over to an alternative power supply. For this switch-over between different power sources the ATS 2000 requires less than ¼ cycle of one period. By this the ATS 2000 is 10 times faster than usual electromechanical switches. Thereby a seamless change-over in power supply is ensured even for the most complex consumers.
