Braking resistors
Whenever it is necessary to dissipate power peaks within an electromechanical process in a hot environment, braking resistors come into their own. In certain cases, braking resistors absorb the energy of a motor drive, thereby braking the motor. Each and every resistor designed by JOVYATLAS is suitable for use as a braking resistor.In general, resistors from our Alpha series or our PT 1000 are used for smaller drives, while our HWS steel-grid resistors or our EN series are suitable for larger drives.
